| These are reef squid that I observed on a dive in the Caribbean. Squid are the most remarkable of animals – hanging stationary in the water one moment and then without warning shooting backwards at incredible speeds. When you add to this their tentacle displays and extraordinary colour changing ability you have a truly beautiful and intriguing animal species. I hope that one can get a sense of the warm Caribbean waters surrounding and buoying up these fabulous creatures. |
